Located right in the centre of town, you can’t miss the immaculately maintained floatplane as you walk along Franklin Wharf. The decision to pop in and see the friendly staff at Above and Beyond was the best decision we made on our trip to Hobart. The 30 minute scenic was truly spectacular, the aircraft is very comfortable, with great visibility. Our pilot Cam was friendly and knowledgeable, providing a smooth flight, and extensive commentary on all the points of interest along the way. Put this at the top of your to-do list when planning your next trip…Thankyou Cam, Sam, and Henry, for a memorable experience.

From Bonnie booking us in at the last minute today , to the pilot Cam taking myself and my daughter (visiting from Canberra) on the 3 Capes Panorama flight, the experience was seamless and incredible. Although I live in Hobart, and see the plane on a daily basis, it is not until you see it from the air with an informed commentary, that you realize how beautiful this region is!. I could not recommend it more ,even if you live here, spoil yourself with one of these flights and you will never forget it!!

“Great Plane, Great Staff, a must do when in Hobart” – January 2022
A great experience – the aircraft is really stable and very comfortable inside. Our pilot Henry gave us loads of information about the local area as he flew us down the Derwent to get some epic views over Bruny Island and Hobart’s surrounds. Even if you only have a spare hour this is well worth it, even just for the awesome experience of landing a plane on water.

Absolutely amazing trip !!!! Bonnys customer service skills and communication with us regarding our flight opportunities was amazing. Henry’s flying and narration of the area we flew over was very informative and loads of fun. The seaplane it’s self was very roomy and comfortable with great windows for viewing. This was the best trip we’ve taken in Tasmania we thoroughly enjoyed and will do again next time we are in Hobart. Next time I’ll bring the kids 👍 Thanks Henry and Bonny for making our day so much fun in Hobart. Glad we didn’t ditch Mitch 😀.
“Amazing flight down the coast with an amazing pilot” – May 2021
We flew from Friendly Beaches at Freycinet to Hobart. Cam our pilot was great. The flight was very smooth for such a small plane and at 1,000 feet. Because we couldn’t do a water takeoff or landing we did a water touch and go to give us the feel. The scenery down the coast was stunning and Cam was very knowledgeable and even spotted a whale. We organised transfers from Hobart to Saffire at Coles Bay. Unfortunately on the way up the weather was bad, but Above & Beyond kept us informed and arranged a car and driver for us. Although not our preferred transport it was seamless. Working with the team to arrange our flights was very easy.
